SESSION SPECIAL!!! Doggies in the Park!

As much as I love dogs, and as much as I love photographing them, I decided it’s high time I offered a few afternoons of “Doggies in the Park” Sessions. This is a little 20 min session where I work with you and your dog(s) to get a handful of the cutest and best shots possible. I prefer dogs that are well-behaved and it’s mandatory they be clean and groomed. Please bring rags to wipe mouths and noses, toys to toss, clean proper leashes & nice collars or preferably no collar for dogs that will stay where told…also toys that rattle and a little baggy of treats. Even if you don’t know how to get your doggy to behave for shots or pay attention for them…..I do!

I will be offering these sessions from 5:45-6:30 Tuesday & Thursday afternoons in either Washington Park or Central City Park. Photos will be processed and posted on the website(s) and you will be emailed 5 of your favs watermarked with my logo so you can post them to facebook or where ever. The sessions also include 1 shots you choose as your favorite to be printed 5×7. These little special sessions are just $40. I prefer booking ahead! Although this is primarily for DOGS…I am more than glad to do other pets…if it can travel and will behave, let me know what it is and I most likely will do it!

Exploding with PhotoPassion!

In case you don’t already know (all 1 reader of my blog), I am overwhelmed sometimes with how absolutely passionate I am about photography. I live it, I breathe it, it’s in my soul. For me, it’s not just “taking a picture”, it’s capturing a moment, or showing the love, or creating an image to show emotion. It’s emotional and each shot is something I take when I feel the moment is right.

With Real Estate Photography, I love going to each shoot and getting to know know not only the home, but the people that live there, through the environment. I try to make each shot show the personality of each room or section with the right lighting, the right angle and the right settings.

With nature- nature shots come the most naturally…I see life, and I want to capture all of it…each little detail…from a butterflies antenna to a flower’s stem, to the itty bittiest little flowers that most people stomp on every day and never see.

Photographing childen is very special….they can be running rampant and screaming and some crying…but it’s the one place I have absolute patience with because I know if I stay calm and just WAIT…that “THE” shot will happen…I love capturing that moment of time when the particular child laughed his or her hardest or when they hug their mom in the most loving way.

Photographing pets is very dear to my heart. I have always loved dogs and most all animals for that matter, but showed dogs for around 12 years. I would still do it now if I had the time. I love capturing personalities, showing the sweetest look, or the cutest gaze. I enjoy being with the owners of a special show dog or puppy and watching it get into just the right stack and capturing it showing it’s BEST of itself.

There isn’t many types of photography I don’t love. Even as I am typing this, I am thinking about upcoming shoots and imagining all types of possible creative lighting and images I’d like to make. I’m thinking about how tomorrow I’m going to a Butterfly Garden and am going to be like a 5 year old in a candy store once we arrive on the property. And it’s not just TAKING & MAKING the photos…it’s the processing….going through each one and finding the ones that are what I was shooting for, and making them into something special. Photography for me is exhilarating and a way for me to release all the creative energy I have built up inside as well as emotions- be it a dramatic shot, or a sad one, one that shows joy, or one that just makes you go “Awww!”.

I look forward to many years of growing better & stronger and improving as not only a photographer as a person!

Looky looky! Discover ME!

I have been doing this for a while now…no not the blogging, the photography! My heart is primarily in portraits, real estate, and vehicles. I also have a passion for nature but it’s the hobby part of photography – not the “Bringing home the bacon” part.

I want to be discovered. It only takes that ONE person. Right now I’d love to do ads for vehicles that will appear in magazines. I have taken a LOT of vehicle photography to date but haven’t even had the chance to really show what’s in my brain. I tend think more dramatic and like deep lighting. Most of my shoots are 100 miles an hour and I just move as quick as possible to get done what needs to get done. I’d love to do some magazine shoots for cars.

Ok so the word is out. I want to do some magazine covers or at least do a LOT more cars. I have other loves but right now the car ‘want’ is what I’m going to put out there.

Blue Eyes & Freckles

One of my agents I work with, has this precious daughter she brings in at times and when she stopped by yesterday I just had to take a few minutes to get her in some good natural light and do some shots. I love when these kids are naturals! She has such incredible blue eyes and the cutest freckles! Here’s Lindsey!

2010 SS Camaro….MINE!

My Camaro is finally here after what seems like a FOREVER wait and now that I’ve had her over a week, I can’t say enough about how great this car is… so instead of saying how great she is… I decided to show it!

A Visit to Bonnie’s Farm

I am delighted to have had the pleasure of visiting a friend of mine’s farm and get to take a few shots of the animals before a bit storm hit. I got to see ducks and geese and mini horses and regular horses and dogs and deer and swamp and turkeys and all sorts of things! I look forward to going back on a pretty day and doing more shots of all the little details.

Real Estate Photography is my specialty!

Some people may not realize this is one of my specialties so I thought I’d remind folks! I do this after hours for any agent including weekends when needed. Typically there are at least 3 of the listings I’ve shot, Pending at any given time. At this date, over half of the homes I’ve shot within the last 6 months have either closed or are already pending and I have shot around 50 homes. Homes shot by me, sell over twice as quick and agents that use me are consistently TOP PRODUCERS!

Baby Leah

I had the pleasure recently of photographing a lifetime friend and fellow photogs newborn baby and it was SUCH a treat! She was 10 days old at our meeting and an absolute pleasure and so beautiful. I look forward to watching this baby grow up.
